If you are not eligible for the Armed Forces Home Ownership Scheme, or feel that this is not the best scheme suited to your needs, there are a range of other schemes designed to help you get a foot on the housing ladder, or to find an affordable home to rent.

If you have a debt problem, there are many organisations offering free and independent debt advice over the telephone or face-to-face. They can help you work out the best way to deal with your debts and answer any questions you have.
